I finished listening to Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. I wanted to read/listen to the book before watching the new show on Netflix. I will be watching the first episode on Friday. I have heard alot about this book, but I thought it wasn't the book for me. But since they are making a tv show about it, I decided to read it. This book is great and it really affected me. I was bullied in school. I think her experience was worse than mine. (I know it's a fictional book.) I did have suicidal thoughts, but I never attempted on it because of my best friend. I wouldn't want to leave her behind. This book is very sad, but all I can say is wow. Thirteen Reasons Why is about a teenage boy named Clay Jensen who gets a package in the mail of cassette tapes. The package has no return address. Curious, he listens to one. The tapes are made by a girl named Hannah Baker. She had committed suicide and the tapes were her reasons why. Clay was in love with her. After listening to the book, I wonder what happens next. I just looked up and Netflix is going to make another season of the show. I'm now listening to The Alexandra Link by Steve Berry.
