MyLotter dreaming of myLotters...It's party time!

I had the craziest dream last night. I don't usually write about dreams because, well, frankly most dreams are only interesting to the dreamer.
But last night I dreamed I threw this huge party with tons of exotic foods and drink.
Friends came, had a great time, then much later, lots of my myLot peeps arrived from all over the world!
I recognized many of you (too many to name), but we had a blast.
I think we should have a giant myLotters Ball. (Another myLotter wrote a similar post one time, I think.)
I'll make pecan pies, broccoli casserole, fried corn bread, and of course, ice cold sweet tea.
What do you want to bring?

i often make pasta salads when i'm going to a group thing.

I like those too. I usually just make up the recipe as I go. Do you have a favorite recipe for pasta salads?

@1creekgirl I do the same, i just make it up based on what i have on hand. i don't usually follow a recipe. mine tends to be an olive oil and lemon juice "dressing" and i like to throw in a variety of veggies and herbs & it's always good with some salami or pepperoni thrown in as well... and of course, some cheese...

Since I can't eat any of those items I'll have to come up with a few of my own - teriyaki chicken, shrimp cocktail, garden salad

@1creekgirl Apparently they were created in Australia. Pavlova is like a meringue base with perhaps fruit and cream on it; peach melba is a dessert dreamed up for Dame Nellie Melba, anAustralian opera singer, and lamingtons are made of sponge cake cut into squares, spread with chocolate icing and rolled in coconut.
