Closer still

It is closer still to the time we are going to leave. There are many odds and ends I want to get done, and the world will not end if I do not. I did empty all the trash for pick up yesterday, then noticed how dirty the trash cans looked, so I washed them. I even got lots of leftovers out of the refrigerator. I wonder if I missed some trash, as the house smells when I come in the door. I have some more to deal with I guess. . All the laundry is clean. I am working steadily on the dishes from the left overs. That may be what smells. I have planted all the herbs and tomatoes that I had waiting. Not a lot of things. Oh, except for the rhubarb. I have to make a little bed for it, to keep it from getting choked out by grass. We have leftovers for tonight and that will be good. Tomorrow I have eighth grade graduation to attend, in McPherson. It is a pretty day to day. Hubby will need to finish getting the van ready for us to take. We took Princess for a ride last night. She did well. We still left the tie out on her in case she tried to get away from the vehicle, but she was fine. I may try to post daily while gone, but I am not sure. I am adding a picture of our travels from last year.
