OMG! I have just read a bad news that the biggest island in the Philippines, Mindanao is under Martial Law. I am from Mindanao but far from the place where most of the Muslims are living. It is said in the news that the ISIS hideouts was raid by the military.
It is said that the leader of the Abu Sayyaf group (who kidnap foreigners for ransom) is hiding in one of the apartments in Marawi and that Marawi city is occupied by the ISIS.
This is the reason why the President Duterte who is at the moment in Russia, brought back the Martial Law in my island. There are strict inspections in every cities in Mindanao. I hope it will not get worse.
Please pray for the innocent people who are in Marawi city now. They are scared for their lives.

Saw the news. Really horrible. Hopefully, this is ended soon and we capture and/or kill all the ISIS terrorists/Maute Group terrorists in Marawi City so they do not cause any more damage to life and property.

When I think about Martial Law during the time of Pres. Marcos, it was safe for the Filipino people but not for the criminals. Those years were far more better than the times of Aquino government I should say. I was still there. Thanks @pgntwo
