Here for a Minute or Ten

Had a client cancel on me this morning so I ventured to the store to get the groceries I needed. Then headed home. Having a cup of coffee and doing a little Mylotting, then heading to my afternoon client. Laundry in the washer, one load on the drying rack. Hoping to get the load hung out that is in the washer, but it is a heavy load so I doubt it will happen. Finished 2 training papers for work. I always put them off until the last minute. Good thing we get paid for the time we spend on them. I'll put in for an hour's inservice time for them. Hope you all are enjoying your day so far. I am outta here for now!

Still have to hang the laundry. Hubby has the porch pretty much tied up with his project of the day so I can't hang them out there. Will have to wait for the laundry I have on the rack to dry and hang them there.

@HazySue a couple of my neighbors have clotheslines in their yards. I plan on hooking one up soon.

My client was a bit out of it today so it was a light day. Ran some errands and made a couple of meals for her.

My busy morning included laundry, too. Isn't it nice to be able to hang it outside? It gets that nice fresh air smell.

I have to lay the clothes across a railing on our porch. Have to convince my husband that it would be beneficial for us to have a clothesline.

@ElusiveButterfly Certainly saves money by not using a dryer.

@BarBaraPrz It does, but I miss being able to have dry clothes in a flash.

That is nice that you get paid for doing the training papers. Usually it is the other way around isn't it? LOL

There was a time when we could put in an hour per training, now we have to put in the actual time it takes us to complete it. I take my time so it takes me a little longer, but no way near the full hour.

@celticeagle I try to test my knowledge before I read the content of the training. Then I go back and read it and take the test.

Mostly our washing dries outside but the last week we've had miserable weather. I might end up putting some in the drier later when the electricity rate is cheaper.

I try to run my appliances in the evening when rates are cheaper. However, sometimes I need to do a quick morning run. It seems I have endless amounts of laundry lately.

@JudyEv my husband's clothes are filthy when he comes home from work. I usually do his clothes every other day. My granddaughter and I have a minimal amount of clothes that need laundering, but they too are done every other day. Add the everyday towels and bedding and I am constantly running the machine.

@ElusiveButterfly Our cheap rates are now 9pm to 7am which would be pretty inconvenient if you were working or had a lot of washing whatever. With just the two of us, it isn't too bad normally.

It is a good day! There is a nice breeze and the air is warm. Have the windows open and enjoying a bit of relaxation before I make dinner. Nice to be able to put my feet up for a minute.

Yeah, that would keep me from hanging my clothes out too! Why bother if they will get crapped on and have to do them all over again?

I bought cheddar cheese brats to cook on the grill tonight. Sounds like that laundry is in the rinse cycle so I just may have time to at least hang out my husband's jeans to dry.
