So I just found out my roommates girlfriend doesn't get child support anymore as of today and that check would have helped a lot. I now have to figure out how to get food in my house and get household stuff on top of it. I am so mad and upset and it seems like no one else in the house cares. Hopefully he gets his food stamps instead very soon. He really needs to turn in his proof asap and that will help a lot. We don't get food stamps because my son gets SSI and my husband makes too much. We do go to the food pantry but never get much there. Ugh, I hope for some miracle to come through asap.

I hope something comes through for you. I have been struggling to make ends meet lately too and it hasnt been to good. But im glad my boyfriend started a job this week and next week we will actually have money to pay bills and get things in check before it all goes crazy again. Just glad to have that finally as it was not easy.
I sure hope you can get food and make things work out for you. Goodluck

I'm sorry that must be so frustrating! Do you have a dollar tree? Some dollar trees have food. When I was still in college I hit a hard time financially I was able to scrounge up about 11 dollars to the dollar tree and stock up on some food. Some even have a frozen/cold section. I hope things improve for you soon.
