~Seeing Her One Last Time~

Hey everyone. I got some news from my father today. Not good news. My grandma is not doing well. She fell for the second time recently. She was in a coma for a week. She's awake but confused and my father along with his siblings doesn't think she has much longer. She's almost 90 years old.
My father desperately wants to see her one last time before she passes but they can't even make ends meet so there's no way they will be able to go to NY where she is.
So they have decided to set up a Gofundme page instead of going into debt with credit cards. Their going to send me the link so I can share it on FB for them. Hopefully he will be able to see his mom again before she dies...

I hope you will let me know what the link is. I am sorry. Grandmother's are such special people. Can't your dad see her by way of Skype or something?

@LovingMyBabies .....Oh, I know that it isn't as nice as a cheek to cheek but certainly if that is the only way someone at her end must have a device. Where there is a will there's a way I always say.

@celticeagle If you want it I will, sure. She doesn't have up to date technology like that. And it's not quite as personal as being able to kiss her goodbye. He already lost his dad so he wants to say bye to his mom the right way.

I hope your father can get to see his mother one last time. This is one reason why I have told my husband that I will not move far away from our family.

@LovingMyBabies I don't know how anyone can live there unless it is in the rural areas. Even so you need to have a good job to survive.

@BarBaraPrz Yeah their both on disability so it's definitely not enough. =( I hope he will be able to see her. I know I would want to if it was my mom.
