UPDATE on my stray rescue Charlie

Well today little Charlie girl had another check up at the vet.
Her bite wounds are all healing nicely.
She is a lot less skinny than the first time I brought her on 2 weeks ago..
Then she was only 4.8 pounds. Today her weight was 6.6 pounds!!! She could probably use some more weight. So she gets to continue to be spoiled with food..
She was well enough to get her distemper shot. And she got more antibiotics So that she continues with the healing.
We are going in the right direction This is what she looked like after I got her home. I guess she's relaxing now.

I hope so. . She might end up being someone else's baby in the future. but at least she will be alive and happy then.
I wish I could keep her. but I don't think she would be so happy with all of my cats. she likes the dogs just fine though.. do you see in the picture above she is touching my puppy's nose?!

@minx267 yes, your kitten is so friendly to the puppy. she is introducing herself to the dog. maybe she thought she is a dog that is why she doesn't get along well with your other cats?

@ridingbet I don't know. but most likely where ever she grew up -it was probably in a house with dogs.

Thank you. I am too. she is a good girl. I almost wish she would decide she doesn't mind the other cats and want to stay with us.
But we will see what happens. It may be better for her to go to a home where she can have some one on one love.

@responsiveme well she was waiting for anyone to save her..
But I at least could not walk by an animal time and time again and do nothing.
I'm glad they at least told me she was there.. if she stopped anywhere other than my immediate neighbors yards. I don't think she would be still alive. she is a lucky girl and so much sweeter than I thought she would be.

Yes she is doing much better. her arm is no longer swollen, and the open wounds have healed nicely.
Where she would have pain walking -- she can now jump from one perch to the next. And she loves to try to play with my puppy when she walks by..
But still hisses at other cats.. She is eating and sleeping and resting and healing.
