I killed him, but only in my dreams!

Before I begin, have you heard of the show "All In The Family?" because for some reason Archie Bunker was in part of this dream, and I really can't wrap my head around it. I may not be able to describe the entirety of my dream because it was just that crazy. I was on a bicycle for the majority of it, though I think at times it was actually a moped. There was someone else on it with me nearly all the time, but while my dream self was well acquainted with the individual, I can't place him in real life. I did a lot of traveling back and forth but never did seem to end up at my destination. Roads that are familiar to me turned into other roads that are also familiar, but clearly miles away from the road I was actually traveling on. It was daylight for a bit, but the majority of my travels were done at night. I did end up at walmart once, but other then that and one short stint at someone's house? I can't place ever being anywhere but the road. One part of the dream was the most disturbing. I had my niece on the back of my bike. I guess I was taking her to school, because it was early enough in the morning to do be doing that. We passed a boy walking and he stopped us to talk. I can't really recall what angered me, but he was being quite annoying, and so I decided to push him. I pushed him, but the inevitably killed him, and there I was on the side of the road trying to figure out how to dispose of his body. We were near a clearing, and I walked through the clearing with the boy in tow to place him down near a row of school desks. Mind, this was outside and not inside a building. The clearing was a small one but big enough to house ten desks comfortably. Then I was tasked with ensuring my niece told no one of what happened. The rest of the dream was of me being paranoid in my travels, because I had taken a life. Archie Bunker popped up at one point when I was traveling at night. His was the house I visited, and he was playing poker with a group of people. --- I think, perhaps, I've been reading too many horror stories lately!

lmao sounds like something I would dream. My dreams are all over the place like that too. Makes you wonder where some of that stuff comes from.

I don't think I've had a normal dream in years... Weirdly enough, I was calm through most of the dream, even though I clearly felt as if it was supposed to be a more distressing one. Still not sure why Archie Bunker came to visit.

Lol seems you are too much involved in the story / show. It happens ..i can understand , if we don't like "we kill them" but if we like " we love them" only in our dreams..

Yes, perhaps I've spent too much time on horror stories! Atleast it's only in our dreams that we "kill them off". Though, I'm not sure who this boy was supposed to represent.

Ha yes maybe the horror stories. I have never killed anyone in my dream. Funny Archie was in it too.

I think he was supposed to be the comic relief. It wasn't a terribly scary dream, and I felt rather relaxed through most of it. The panic didn't set in until I killed that poor boy. I still don't understand why there was a classroom set up in a clearing.

Some dreams really are a repeat of our activity, so you might be right about reading too many horror stories @ScribbledAdNauseum

Agreed, but at the same time none of the stories I've read have been about killing others... Atleast not killing others by other people who are alive. Most deaths are a result of the ghouls themselves.
