Coffee Machine Not Working

Hi all,
Coffee machines should be maintained neat and clean right? Well the coffee machine in our office is not working. To my surprise , today we found out that they are not at all maintaining it properly. There is rust all over inside and some insects too..yuck . I decided , i won't have tea/coffee there from now on., not even hot water..
This may be one reason for my throat infection sometimes..

Oh no!!! Yes, do not drink out of that one anymore!!
So, you can make your own coffee by hand..
That is very unsatisfactory that the people do not maintain this machine.

yes, these people act a lot as if they are doing more work , but if it's like this, what is the use. we gave complaint to our manager, he will look after it.

Oh that is so gross. If I need a cup of coffee when I am driving between clients I stop at a local shop for a cup.

Office coffee machines need to be taken care of properly and they should pay someone to do that every single day. And yes, it could make people sick if they are not taken care of. If they aren't going to maintain the machine, they should do away with it and make all of you buy your own coffee and bring it in.

Ew, that's pretty disgusting! I've heard a lot of scary things about how businesses fail to clean and maintain coffee machines or other drink dispensers. I generally don't buy coffee outside the home. We usually just drink tea or instant coffee in our house. Or I'll get locally roasted beans to make up in the French press. Nothing complicated to clean, and I like to give business to the local companies that sell organic, fair trade coffee.
The one place that I will sometimes buy coffee, other than the used bookstore where my daughter knows the owners personally, is the 7-Eleven store. We know the man who maintains all the machines. He cleans them every single night and actually takes them apart to do it. So I know the coffee there is safe!
