Do you cut coupons?

Before moving south, I use to be a big coupon cutter and spend hours going through the ads in the papers. Now I see so many coupons offered in a digital form. I tried to figure them out but I am not getting the hang of it yet. Does anyone here use digital coupons? If so, how does it work. I know I have to get them on my cell phone but I do not really understand it. I am a senior blonde, what can I say.

I cut coupons all the time. I match them up with the publix store coupons so i have double coupons and then most of the time publix coupons are for two so i try to always then have the two coupons for that item and then hoepfully more then likely i will then get one of them for free. It works out but its time consuming and i hope to get back into again soon once i have my own place. I actually enjoy it and its fun to do early saturday morning while everyone else is sleeping LOL.

I loved using them years ago but since we moved I never picked it up again and never learned how to use the digital ones.

I don't think we have that much up here. Any coupons we may have may all be in digital form. Either way, I don't think I could really have the patience to do it. I know some people can and I applaud them for it, but I don't think I could last.

@ramapo17 I can imagine that it took a lot of time. It does take time, planning and organizing. I don't always have those.

Even cutting them out took a long time to cut them and organize them for the shopping trip.

The ones you use on your phones would be the digital ones. How does that work? A few weeks ago I tried downloading some on my phone but don't know how to use them in the store. Do the cashiers have to go on my phone to pull them up?

Back in the day, yes, I use discount coupons. as for digital coupons, I usually get these from my credit card provider or my mobile phone provider. It is as simple as showing the text message to the cashier so I can avail of the discount.

Maybe I should just ask the cashier next time when I go shopping.

I do cut coupons, print them online, and also do a lot of free couponing too. I do. Some grocery stores have digital deals like Giant Eagle has e-coupons you can clip from the website. Maybe it's best to print out those coupons online or clip them from the site on the computer.

I do print some on my computer. I will check into the digital from someone sooner or later. By that time there will probably a new way of getting them.

@ramapo17 Cutting coupons is my hubby's job. But, you could ask someone to show you how to get the hang of digital coupons.

I don't think about it until I am on my way out the door. I do have to get organized again as I did keep a record of how much I saved every week.
