My parents are the one who are not on social media and don't like to come. The phones they carry are basic phones, they don't want to use smart phones. may be they find it tough or they just want to use phones only for making and receiving calls. what is your say?

@spaceseed I understand your point and I agree with you, even I want my parents to use smart phone so that I can do video chat and can share the pictures and all regularly. I think they don't find it easy and don't even want to try. Every one like to live the way he has lived for long time. But there are many elders who have started to use these facilities.

Please give my regards to your parents. They're wise people. I do nearly the same. But I only make calls. I don't even receive any.

actually they are sitting 400 km away.. so i remain slightly worried about them. if they have cam or at chat i can msg them. making calls is not always posible from my work. let me share one instance. my father's income tax return paper filing became late just because his phone wasnt smart, and i had to send copy of document by mail

I've just written about this. I don't have a mobile and the one my husband has is pretty basic. At least I think it is.
