Are you green-tea lover? If so, never add sugar and milk with your tea coz these ingredients reduce the function of green tea. So avoid milk and sugar.

What is the function of green tea? Why don't you tell us? I don't drink green tea. The taste is vile.

I don't mind it so much. But I don't seek it out. I asked a similar question to yours. I hope we get good responses.

@TheHorse Don't put your hopes up too high. It's one of those posts which seem to have content but haven't any.

I have heard that too. The benefits of the tea will be taken away by doing so.

Here we may just add sugar to the chrysanthemum tea and that's it. In fact we don't have a habit to add sugar and milk to the green tea. I think it is for black tea only. And we call it as milk tea

Actually milk & sugar ruin tea whatever black or green! They destroy the good functions of tea. People add sugar and milk to tea as it tests good.

Darn! I actually like milk and sugar in my (rare) green tea! What do milk and sugar do that undermines the positive effects of green tea?

Green tea helps to loss weight but sugar is rich in calories. Again, The milk proteins bind with the polyphenols in the tea, make it harder for the body to absorb them and ends up the heart protecting functions of phenols and polyphenols profoundly. Milk reduces tea's overall antioxidant effect. And you will gain 60 to 80 calories when milk is added with tea. So it is better to take tea without sugar & milk.
