Hey everyone! Today has had its ups and downs but it's almost over which might be a good thing at this point. Lol. I didn't babysit the boys today like I usually do because they had a concert to perform in at school. I will have them tomorrow through Sunday.
We went for a walk earlier so we could get out of the house. Nothing eventful happened there-it was really nice and the weather was good for a change, not too hot.
We got home and the older 3 went out to play. The next thing I know my oldest daughter walked in the house with her eye swollen and said she got stung by a wasp. =( She was checking the mail for me and there's a nest my husband needs to take care of when he gets home apparently. 
She's okay thank God and had no reaction to it-grateful for that!
I made her stay inside for a while after and put ice on it to take the swelling down. My poor baby.
Ugh, it's been an interesting day that's for sure!

Sorry to hear your daughter got stung by a wasp glad she is ok. I hope your husband takes care of that nest soon so it don't happen again.

Wasps are very dangerous. Whenever I see a nest, I have it taken it out and burned immediatly.

@NJChicaa Yeah she said it hurt a lot and then it went numb. =( I'm just glad she's not allergic since that was the first time she's ever been stung.

This is why I hate wasps I am surprised your oldest daughter didn't scream or cry when stung.

@workathomefan She might have when it happened but not when she came in tell me. She does have very high pain tolerance too.

@AmbiePam Yes it is! She handled it so well though. She has really high pain tolerance-not like me! Lol. I know I wish they would disappear off the Earth! Lol

Wasp and yellow jacket stings can be painful...deer flies take big chunks out of you as well.

AAAWWW your poor baby girl I am sure it is bad just being stung by something let along in the face by her eye. Poor baby I hope that she is better now. My dad is allergic so I am scared to even get around anything that can sting me LOL.

@LovingMyBabies That is great to hear. She sounds just like my little boy. The last thing that happen to him his brother hit his hand with a crow bar and left a big gash in his hand. He was not even going to tell us about it and he never cried. We get to looking at it and had to go to ER because you could see the tissue in his hand.
