Favorite "Sun" Songs Bonus - "Sun Goddess"

Every so often, as I do these music countdowns, I totally space out a song that would have made the cut. In this case, I just finished my Favorite "Sun" Songs series. I forgot one of my favorite songs: "Sun Goddess" by Earth, Wind & Fire.
"Sun Goddess" was originally done by Ramsey Lewis, with Earth, Wind & Fire backing him. It was written by John Lind and Maurice White, with White producing as well. In 1975, EWF performed the song live for their Gratitude album.
Be sure to listen for some funky bass play from Verdine White, a killer sax solo from Andrew Woolfolk, and some nifty electric piano from Larry Dunn.
Like I said, one of my favorite songs. It totally would have made the countdown had I only remembered it. Shame on me.

Ah, so you forgot one, everyone loves a bonus. Really neat song with all the great musical elements you describe.

I wish I hadn't spaced it out. It totally would have made the countdown.

It happens. We could all revive and tweak our lists.

It's happened to me a couple times. I figure there's no harm in a bonus.
