What does "expect" bring~?

I'm always afraid of expecting too much for the future, because for me, almost every time before things happen, the full expectation comes to nothing. So I might try to deceive myself, so that I don't think about what I'm looking forward to. But in my mind, I would think about the things I expected from time to time. I really hope things don't always get that bad.

It will hurt you more when you don't get what you want so try not to expect too much in everything. I know it's easier said than done, especially if you are a perfectionist.

@Heyiqian I hope that for you too... I used to expect too much and got hurt from my expectation so I take it a little bit easier these days..

It is better not to think about the future. Let go of the past, enjoy the present and do not bother about the future. I am trying to live my life like that now but it is for sure not easy
