Waiting Shed

I got the idea of this rural kind of waiting shed because the parents and teachers including the grade schoolers are waiting one of the senators in our country, senator Sonny Angara. We call this shed as 'dap-ayan' which usually made from indigenous materials like woods, bamboo and cogon grass. Villagers who walk through 1 or 2 hours going to the market rest in this hovel. Usually the terrain is uphill down and when someone is tired they seek comfort here. Do you want to have some rest here?

I'd rest there given a chance! What would Senator Angara do in your province?

He was the guest speaker in the graduation ceremony of Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) of our province.

@ilocosboy nice! I like him as a politician. One of the few that I actually trust in the Senate.

some beaches, resorts, private pools have something similar so you can put your stuff and eat between swimming.

@ilocosboy because those in the mountains (maybe even rice fields?) are just rest tops. in beaches, resorts, private pools where you pay, they're called cottages. hehe.

The photo is sideways. It is difficult to see if there are any seats.
