What about cuddling cats all day and getting paid for it?

A veterinary clinic called Just Cats based in Ireland is now looking for a full time cat cuddler. The conditions attached to the job are that the candidates must be patient as they will have to cuddle the cats for extended periods of time and speak softly to the cats. The cat cuddler will have to ensure that the cats are calm and comfortable during their visits. If you have lots of cattitude maybe this is the purrfect job for you.

I wish we have that kind of job here. But shelters here are limited. They're very much lucky.

@Nawsheen I am allergic unfortunately..I can pet from a distance, but cat fur near my face makes me itchy..though I love them.

What a really great idea and they could hire another one for dogs also as they are the most nervous of all I reckon.
Makes me smile as I love cats but not all cats might get to like you.
Pity I am not in Ireland either its a really beautiful place.

@lovinangelsinstead21 in my country we have lots of stray cats which are aggressive too. But those cats coming to visit the clinic will behave better i guess.

Cats around here are like that they spat at people most of the time or go running off.

@Nawsheen Same here but we have one here who comes only for food. He does not even meow and never lets me touch him. It is well over a year. I love him to bits though

It seems like an easy job, but then again it may not be if I were to do it. Of course, I wouldn't do it because I am not a fan of cats. I would be afraid to hold them... I've never gotten bitten or attacked by one but still am afraid. It's not easy for me to pat them... so cuddling them would be a nightmare.

@Nawsheen Well, I am afraid of dogs too, but more of big ones than small ones. I got bitten by a dog when I was little. It was a rather small dog. It was my fault though. You don't throw a bone to a dog and then take it away and keep repeating that...
