Totally forgot to talk about this!

So last Saturday I totally did not get a chance to talk about something cool that I did! I know that I didn't post last weekend so I am sure I didn't talk about this. So now I am! Every Saturday until the end of June my local mall does these little concerts. They bring in a bunch of cover bands and they actually get a pretty big crowd which is cool! And every time it is a different theme and last Saturday it was classic rock, which heck yeah my mom and I are going to go to! We love classic rock and also classic rock is was rock when she was growing up. We also had my grandma come along so we didn't have to walk in the dark and also we wanted to spend time with her. Even though she didn't really enjoy the music going on. But my mom and I really enjoyed it. We all sat front and center, just like my mom wanted. They played a lot of rock that was closer to country rock, it was basically a cover band you would see at a bar, that is what they reminded me of. There was a cute moment, a little boy was running around and he would get near where the band was and he was top and look at the guitarist. the guitarist was the youngest of the group, no older than 20, and he was straight faced most of the time. But when this little boy would come up he would gleam the brightest smile. It was contagious that smile. The band took requests for songs and of course being the week that Chris Cornell passed away this guy and I teamed up to request Black Hole Sun by Savage Garden. And the lead singer said "Ahh, no, too soon!" Honestly, it wouldn't be too soon, if you are a real artist then you know how to homage your fellow artists. But I think that was just their excuse of they either did not like grunge or they did not know the song. Because they didn't like the idea of Pearl Jam or Nirvana either. Other than that, it was a pretty fun night. It was also a cooler night, it wasn't hot at all. Plus there were misters and it felt pretty nice.

That is so cute that Grandma went too with you and your Mother. Yes, pity they couldn't play Black Hole.
