It is going to be a big thunderstorm shortly today the same as yesterday.
Nice flowers there, yes we don't want them to get battered by rain.
I hope you have a lovely long weekend coming up and with your dinner guests.
No plans here not well today so trying to get over it.

The plants are so healthy! I planted the seed for Marigold and they are up and ready to be transplanted. My Basil is still small and I have the second year sage in the ground and its doing awesome.
I already have baby tomatoes and sweet bell pepper. Cucumber, squash, okra, jalapenos and banana pepper. OHHH and I have sunflowers.

I've planted a few things between downpours. I don't think I'll need to do much watering....but starting to wonder how I'll get the rest planted.

Yes, it's been raining in my part of the country too (NJ). Agree, now's the time to start planting so we can enjoy the beautiful plants and flowers when they bloom. I've just planted a plum tree my wife received for working as a volunteer at Long Beach Island (located at the Jersey shore). My red roses have just bloomed and my evergreen trees look great from all this rain. My azalea's have come up too. We will be planting our tomato plants this weekend. Also, getting ready for the craziness of Memorial Day weekend. It's always nutty down at the Southern NJ beaches! Enjoy your planting! DB from the Jersey Shore.
