How many hours do you sleep at night? Do you think it is enough?

They said on TV you have to sleep at least 6 hours per night to lessen your risk of stroke and heart attack. I think I usually get about that much, but defintely not last night. I woke up at 5 AM after I went to sleep at maybe 12:45 AM or 1:00 Am not sure when I really dropped off..then I stayed in bed after I woke up and everytime I was going to go back to sleep the birds would tweet, or some repetitive noise would happen..I don't know what the beeping was. Anyway, I guess I squeaked out another half an hour until I got up around 8:30. I hope tonight is better! Do you sleep enough?

I sleep much better during the day, pretty sure I am either a vampire or was a cat in my past life. If i do sleep at night I get about 2-4 hours and then if I am not doing anything that day I will take a nap that will be about 3 hours. Some people can just function off 4 hours of sleep haha I did it all through out high school. 1 hour of sleep throughout all four years haha!

I'm lucky if I get 6 hours of sleep. I can survive without sleep or even just 1 hour of sleep

I try to go to sleep as late as possible so I am not troubled with those night time wakenings.

Yes. It is advised to sleep a minimum of 6 hrs. But, due to age, some people will not have it They should develop some work for themselves and work on it to get a sound sleep.

I find it helps to go to sleep late then you will sleep a bit longer and more soundly.

I don't think I was every one to sleep 8 hours but one time when I was in my 30's I took some melatonin, and I slept really, really well..like the sleep of a child I woke up feeling so refreshed. However, it never had that effect on me again!

Some nights I will get lucky and sleep properly. Other nights, they can be awful and the next day is just one step above hell.
