One step forward, two back. Sigh.

I seem to be writing about every two weeks. I really need to get my ass in gear and start focusing on writing reviews again. It's just, well, I don't feel up to anything these days. I saw my GP today, and she was so pleased by my weight loss. It is continuing. God only knows why or how. She also is going to recommend me to an orthopedist, and see if there is anything to be done about the sciatica, as it is truly getting out of hand painwise. Burning shooting pain down my right thigh. It's horrible, I was crying last night in bed because it was getting so bad. My taking the xarelto isn't about to stop anytime soon. It seems I have yet another ailment to make me fret and worry over -- Lupus Anticoagulant aka antiphospal.pxd antibody syndrome. I haven't a clue what it is, except that it appears to be an antiimmune disorder that is affecting my blood. Sigh. I am so sick of having things going wrong with me. It is certainly not doing my depression any good either. Oh well. Time to go to bed, slap on the TENS unit and time for the evening pills. Maybe I'll even be on line tomorrow.

Geez, that sounds really painful. I hope they can get a handle on it.

I sure hope you will be feeling much better. I too have troubles with my sciatica so I understand. It all depends on the weather for me. On rainy days it hurts more and less on sunny days and if I am really lucky there are days it doesn't hurt at all. Wishing you a better tomorrow.
