Happy Saturday everyone and hope you are enjoying the first day of the weekend. For those of us in the US it's a long weekend with Monday being a holiday. My morning started off a bit later than usual as I didn't sleep that well and decided to stay in bed a little longer. Now I feel as if I'm way behind especially getting a post up today. My usual routine is to myLot while I have my coffee but this morning my daughter was already up and had the coffee going so we had our coffee together on the deck. This was the first morning in a long time that the weather cooperated for enjoying our coffee outside. I want to bake cupcakes this afternoon and have everything out on the kitchen counter. It's just a matter of mixing the batter and getting the cupcakes into the oven. However, I haven't even done that yet. I feel very lazy today and will probably squeeze in a nap later this afternoon. My daughter is busy working on her jewelry creations which she sells in her Etsy shop. Her talent amazes me and although I never doubted her when she said she wanted to do this I am a bit surprised that she is as creative as she is. Her other two sisters have always been the crafty ones so I was a bit skeptical at first. I'm happy to say that she proved me wrong! Tomorrow we're having our traditional holiday barbecue so it will be a busy day. Maybe that's why I'm tired today (in advance ) Other than that, it's a quiet day here. Even the neighbors are quite and the only noise outside is the birds singing and chirping away. Hope you're doing something fun today or over the weekend.
