These social media sites should be paying us to post comments. With their places crawling with angry and isolated characters, it is not safe to express yourself here. Try posting innocent comments and someone will find excuse to harass you. Based in the experiences of my friends, the worst places to post comments are: Yahoo answer Facebook Twitter Reddit Youtube (the worst of all)

The internet is not the place for sharing your family secrets, personal desires and other intimate details. Would you allow your local newspaper to print these? The internet is no different. It's public domain and often whatever you post will remain in the digital sphere for a long long time. If you need to share intimate things, look offline and form friendships with real people. You may be pleasantly surprised by the experience.

@artner that explains our CEO warning us about posting something online. Try doing something stupid and we are fired. With facebook failing to protect people from trolls, companies and the law are finding ways to hunt these keyboard 'warriors'

@Mamerto32 it's the pack turning on the lone wolf syndrome. I have seen people on Facebook gang up on someone and literally destroy their life. Facebook is by far the most guilty of this as their platform allows users almost unlimited freedom with very little recourse. Ban the account and the user simply opens another one. It is a very real problem and users need to be made aware of the damgers. Post one stupid thing on Facebook and it could cost you your lnext job.

I agree. These sites are common place to bully others. I hope it can be controlled and monitored.

@Shavkat in the end, it comes down to bullying victim standing up for themselves. The best thing to do is to report trolls so facebook could take their account down. And I think I'll do a research on how to deal with trolls. I'll post it here.

And speaking of games, I will post a discussion about an online game filled with foul mouthed Asians. I'm not being racist, being Asian myself. (These Asians are Filipinos, and as Filipinos I'm ashamed of what they are doing.)

I agree. You are making yourself a soft target for cyber criminal. I mean trolls are the least of your worries now in this case.
