As I mentioned yesterday in a previous post I had planned to watch the Veteran motorcycle procession as they went by the house From a American Legion post up the road from here to WallSouth on the Bayfront downtown. I counted as the motorcycles pass by and watched as drivers and passengers on the other side of the highway got out of their cars to honor these motorcyclists who were going to pay honor to the fallen at the park but are also Veterans themselves. By the time the last of the processional had past by I counted over 700 motorcycles many deccorated in red, white and blue and there could have been over 1000 as many motor cycles had more than one person on the bike. I am glad the rain showers we had shortly after held off for these motorcyclists today. Now to cook a mea; of BBQ chicken wings and thighs, along with new red potatoes, feild peas, fried summer squash and pan fried okra.

We have them all the time, but days like today when they all come together is extra special and I am glad that I live on the route they take to go to Wall South

That amount of motorbikes must have taken a long time to go past.
