This just makes me so angry my Older nephew who is 11 got mad at his younger brother 5 and slammed his head into the wall proceeding to give him a bloody nose. I wanted to smack him but since this is frowned upon I have them the long standard speech of he is twice the size of him how could he do that, how would you feel if someone else did that to him would you be mad?/say sorry now no games no outside no fun....

Too bad you aren't allowed to discipline him.

@teamfreak16 Agreed. He has to learn NOW not to hurt others before he grows bigger.

@sallypup Yes usually he is a pretty good kid but recently he has shown a bit of a temper and little outbursts he will definitley be watched more closely when he is around his brother

That is just terrible that an older sibling hit his younger brother and bloodied his nose. It is We Are Family not Family Feud. Sorry if my remark went out of bounds.

It is frowned upon, but I sometimes give my son a swat on the behind, I barely even smack his butt and he acts like I'm murdering him. He might be jealous of his brother or something, I know some kids are meaner than others. My brother was a jerk to me when I didn't deserve it as a kid. I think a lot of it was because he saw me as a replacement. My dad was harder on him than me and he blamed me for it and he'd just pick on me for no reason. Just keep on getting onto him, he's clearly old enough to know better.

@chrissbergstrom Yeah, that's a bit much. At 11 you are old enough that you should know how to handle certain situations, he might have some repressed anger or something and he takes it out at random. I don't know, it's difficult to say.

All his brother was doing was singing really loudly and watching him play his game on his phone, his older brother said shut up and pushed his head against the wall, i think it may be partly he doesnt know his own strength but still he should have never touched his brother, he has legs get up and move...

@sissy15 Thats what's sad is all of her kids have so much built up anger, i know my nephew hates the fact he is the only one who isnt living with his mom, i know he loves his dad but he would prefer to be with my sister, which honestly him living with his dad is a good thing because he is disciplined more there, i wish my sister would get it together more so she could handle his anger..... but now she has two little ones to focus on, thank good my older neices are about grown now....

That is horrible. He should know better especially being 11 years old! Did he get punished by his mother?

@chrissbergstrom Oh I see. If thats the case, I don't think he should hang out with the step brother (then if I'm correct). Or better supervision because it could be dangerous.

@chrissbergstrom What's going on with his parents? He's only going to get bigger. He needs some lessons on how to handle his anger.

@sallypup My sister babies him because he is the only child of hers that doesnt live with her, his dad and step mom are super strict though so when he comes up around his mom he thinks he can get away with anything but thats not the case because me and my mom will set him straight even if my sister doesnt.

Wow sibling rivalry is alive and well in that household. How sad. I do hope they become closer as they get older.
