It is the users invariably that are responsible for the sites to fare badly. I need not elaborate on that. If you want to know what a site worth is, just go to sites that give you that information. Many of the bad reviews are written by frustrated users who have failed. Here is one such site that will give you all the information about sites http://checkwebsiteprice.com/ There are many such sites. Those who wish to maintain their writing style and also wish to get paid then one should go for blogging sites as well. So have you found your corner? I have - so far so good. I believe in making hay while the sun shines.

It isn't the users it is the owners that make sites fail. Stupid promises of earnings is a big thing. The reason mylot has been around so long is because it makes no such promises with regards to earnings. Also, the format picks up people like me who don't care about earnings in any way...we like the discussions That's why I stay here and have done for quite a few years now. These other sites come and go and often mylot members go off to these better earning sites and have no loyalty. Maybe in time they'll realise their time is better spent on here.

@allknowing I was primarily talking about site loyalty. When the next big earner comes around I see people desert mylot and go to that place. Then when it goes down they return...I've seen that time and time again. Blogjob and tinycent are some recent examples...where are they now Yet many lessened their activity here to take advantage of sites that went under very fast Maybe one day that lack of loyalty will see mylot go under Personally I look at the bigger picture...in earning terms I'd say I could earn $10 a month on site A but it will be up for a short time...I can earn $5 on mylot and it will be up long term...I'd skip the bigger money and be loyal to the long term payer.

@Mike197602 I can understand what you are saying but can't you do two sites, being loyal to both??

@allknowing Which blogging site have you found? All the ones I knew have been going down one by one.

@Mike197602 Once that is accepted it is no more disappointing. I am writing at postloop and will not be disappointed if they vanish once again.

@allknowing personally I'll just stay here. Legit and paying, a format I like...so I don't need to go anywhere else. That being said if a true discussion site appeared I'd maybe go there

@allknowing Oh postloop. I must always follow your advise of going to lazyforums. Though, I haven't tried writing the 10 trial posts. I don't know where to go to have that.

Going by what is happening in the writing world that is the only attitude one needs to have and not get frustrated when sites vanish.

Earn while the sites last; also it gives us an opportunity to practice writing.

I'm glad I don't have to do this sort of thing to make a living because as you say they come and go. I like this better than facebook I canceled my facebook account about 2 years ago. Sick of that site. So on postloop I have to write a blog or have a forum. Or can I just visit blogs and get paid for that. I'm unsure of what I read on postloop site.

Neither do I. I spend more to be on line. But I do enjoy writing and being appreciated by other users who are there blogging.

@allknowing Apparently postloop is not accepting new members at this time. I don't want to write blogs but would be willing to read and comment on them.
