Every morning the ocean loves to wash up shells and all sorts of things. Like this big guy. He washed up right at my feet. Don't worry he's still alive. The ocean tipped him over and soon he found himself safe in the sand.

Informed was actually started after Twitter. I was doing a lot of LIVE coverage and people wanted more so I started it up. The links go out on Twitter to all new posts on the site. So you're definitely not blind. lol I should get a subscribe link on there. And I promise to do so. I'll make a note of that and get it taken care of this week. Thanks for bringing that up.

Lol it's a horseshoe crab and I'd say that one was a little too big for comfort. Ha I'm going to guess and say around 14 inches long and possibly 10 inches wide.

I think I have seen this creature before. They look weird and I think perhaps they are ancient creatures.

Interesting. The only ocean beach I've been to is Cannon Beach in Oregon.

I've been to Cannon Beach @RichardMeister. Its not bad, but the beach compared to the beach here is bad.

That same day a seahorse washed on shore. That was the highlight of my vacation. Holding the seahorse in my hand and putting it back into the ocean.

What is it? It seems that sea creature was able to survive without being caught.

Yes, each morning we were watching so many come ashore and the waves toss them about so much.
