Two new books!

If you follow my book related posts then you are aware that I have somewhat of a love for the ebook/reading app Scribd. Well since the new month rolled around a couple days ago and I recieved my June credits. I went ahead and downloded two books. Well one is a book, the other is more of an Essay- since it is only 97 pages long. The first one is Meet the Mertzes, and is about the co stars of I Love Lucy- Vivian Vance and William Frawley who played Fred and Ethel. I am pretty excited about this one since I am a pretty big fan of all things Lucille Ball. The second one is an essay written by Chuck Klosterman. I can't remember the title right now, but I have read several of his books including one of my favorite books ever "Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs." So these are two of the most recent additions to my (virtual) library. Have you added any new books to your library recently?

I do the same as Deborah though I do have several books on my Kindle. I just usually prefer to have a hard copy in hand.

I would love that book on Fred and Ethel!!!! I have boxes and bags filled with books from Goodwill and our local bookstore to read. I'm reading one on early Rome now.

I'm just reading lots of magazines right now and don't have much time to read book at this time; hopefully at the middle of June I can resume my book readings.

@JediYoda Why not read a chapter of a book a day, that will get you back into book reading.

I've been busy writing books, but I haven't bought any in a while. My missus has though. E-books, anyway. She enjoys reading the Nocturne Falls series and has got me reading them.

@thislittlepennyearns It's a shame you don't have it. Our state has a digital library system when you can search the catalog to request books, place holds, put them on a wish list. You just have to sign in with your library card number the the branch. You get an email notification, when the book's' available when you place a hold or list it. It would also be listed on your library account. You have 21 days to read the e-book on your computer, tablet, or e-book device. As for my computer, I'm going to talk to my brother about it tomorrow morning during lunch and see what he says about repair or replacement.

@KristenH Have you gotten anywhere with figuring out what to do about your computer? And I don't use kindle as much as i used to but i do have the app on my tablet and cell phone. Scribd is a pretty good app. I like it more than any of the other reading apps I have used and I was really big into Osytr. I wish our library did digital loan. How does that even work ?
