No one but the individual can save this world

I said the same thing the other day to my family who were debating politics. I told them that politicians are worthless and it doesn't matter what they do, but it very much matters what we do. It's the people that change the world, not the fools and whatever agreements they try to enter us into. In the end, politicians will never accomplish things (because it's just talk, no action). It's always the people.

I wholly agree. Nothing can be done if we don´t get involved. Some years ago, we had some electricity problems in my country. The President asked us to change to electricity savings bulbs if we could and turn off the lights we were not using. It was just a petition, not mandatory, of course. But it worked
