No one but the individual can save this world

All those grandiose plans that are being talked about saving the planet are worthless if individuals do not play their role. When individuals play their role those so called grandiose plans are worthless. Climate change is not in our hands no matter how many million dollars one spends. What are your views on this?

I said the same thing the other day to my family who were debating politics. I told them that politicians are worthless and it doesn't matter what they do, but it very much matters what we do. It's the people that change the world, not the fools and whatever agreements they try to enter us into. In the end, politicians will never accomplish things (because it's just talk, no action). It's always the people.

I wholly agree. Nothing can be done if we donĀ“t get involved. Some years ago, we had some electricity problems in my country. The President asked us to change to electricity savings bulbs if we could and turn off the lights we were not using. It was just a petition, not mandatory, of course. But it worked

The mega role of an individual cannot be ignored. No amount of money spent to clean the air is going to help if individuals do not move.
