Third's the Charm isn't it? (I'm not proud to be lead by this man)

You might have noticed that I recently deleted a discussion. This discussion here will be my third, and hopefully last attempt to best articulate how I feel. I will also try to keep it as short as possible without damaging the integrity of my words. I should express as disclaimer that : These are my personal feelings. While there may be many who agree with me, I am sure there are many more who disagree. It is your right to disagree. It is not, however, okay for you to express your opinions in a hateful manner. I've no intention of being hateful here within. Trump tweeted in regards to the Mayor of London and his address to the people within. I read the tweet first and chose to do the research secondary. It appears, as seems to be Trump's way, that he took what was said out of context. Trump insinuated that the mayor of London was suggesting people should not be afraid. My initial reaction was that Trump was misinterpreting the Mayor's words. That is the case, but he also took said words out of context. I believed that the Mayor was essentially letting Londoners know that they should not be afraid. I was right. Sadiq Khan was briefing the public on an increased police presence in London. I will wrap up this discussion, so as to not make it longer than necessary, by saying this : Trump STAY OUT of the politics of other Countries. Especially when you can't be bothered to adequately convey the truth. *** AGAIN *** Everyone has a right to their own opinion. My choosing to express mine here is in no way meant to incite any manner of agitation or rude behavior. Any attempt at belittling me for my beliefs will result in your comments being reported, if not altogether deleted. In other words, be nice or stay out.

Trump is an incompetent idiot. I can't wait for him to be impeached.

He is such a puts. And he doesn't know much about being a president. Doesn't listen to those that might give him some good advise and he spouts off before he thinks. He is a know it all that can't imagine anyone else might know something besides him. Being gracious, kind and thinking about the country and not just himself is beyond him. How his wife puts up with him is beyond me. I could go on and on about this man. In this particular situation he is only hurting this country and making a laughing stalk out of himself. How rude! He is the first president to be so ugly and defacing of other countries that are allies or that we need to be respectful of regardless. No other president has acted with as little finesse and good sense as he has and he hasn't even been in there that long. I so hope that they impeach him FAST!!

I agree, he hardly knew how to run his own companies. I don't know why people thought he could run our country. You are right, he doesn't listen to others. Whether that has something to do with an underlying condition or not, I don't know and I don't care. He needs to be gone ,and I mean like yesterday! His wife was living in NY and I thought for awhile that it was to do with Barron Trump. I feel like that was only part of the reason and the other part is that she simply didn't want to be anywhere near him. I feel sorry for her and I feel sorry for Sean Spicer. I can't say as I envy him and his spotlight. He doesn't get briefed the way he should before having to speak on behalf of Trump, and because of that he is made to look like a bafoon. Him not being briefed, or not knowing what to say is again, the result of a president who doesn't know what he's doing ,can't make up his mind and is making us the laughingstock of the world. I just.. No words could ever completely explain how much I loathe this man and what he is doing to our country. I'm going to say one more thing. WHY did we ever let a man who disrespects women and who makes fun of those with special needs into office?

@ScribbledAdNauseum .......He isn't doing a good job at running the country. He doesn't even have a full staff. There are certain things that past presidents have done to make the country feel confident in them. He isn't doing any of these things. He does things in the moment instead of getting advise first. He is not a politician and doesn't know how to run this country. I feel that he is for him first and the country second. I hate that he is making America such a laughing stock.

@celticeagle I agree with all you've said. Especially that he thinks of himself first, and the nation second. The fact that his family has been involved with Russia even before the election (Either Eric or Donald Jr saying that the famly business was funded by Russia) .. Just too many things that make me fear for the future of our country if he isn't stopped. I Realize there are safeguards in place to keep the president from doing too much harm, but alienating our allies is bad enough.

Dear, I was really looking forward to being argumentative. To be fair, Trump is not alone in this respect. Too many politicians seem to take statements out of context in order to misinterpret them.

@ScribbledAdNauseum You have a fair point there. Occasions such as this would be considered taboo by most politicians.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Britain is likely to tolerate such nonsense at present because they are hoping for US trade deals.

@Asylum It would not be so far fetched for people to assume that he (Trump) was alluding to some manner of superiority (he believes) he has over the investigations that are being carried out by UK officials. I say this in response to his tweet misrepresenting Sadiq Khan. I fear that if he doesn't keep his nose out of UK business we will soon find ourselves with broken (ally) ties. (Of course his latest tweets would only be the icing on the cake)

I think Trump is doing exactly what all the other presidents before him has done, only now we use email and twitter.

This is the first president I know of to insult our allies like he has... I don't disagree that there are many parallels to past presidency. I still retain the belief that he is running us into the ground.
