Time goes by quickly

My daughter is almost walking. It seems like only yesterday she was a tiny baby I could hold in one arm. She is my world and I am very proud of her. I remember praying for years for a child and I pretty much gave up and just figured it wasn't meant to be and then it finally happened, The most beautiful little girl came into the world as my daughter. I wouldn't trade her or my life for anything.

Oh yes, tell me about it. My two sons, who were such tiny babies are adults today ages 26 and 21. I remember when my first was born, my Mom told me "you will blink and he will be an adult". and she was right.

Yea its crazy how fast time goes by. It doesn't always seem like it and then you wake up one day and they're not so little anymore. Not to mention ourselves feeling older lol

@Lupita234 I was mostly a full time Mom (except for 1 part time job) while they were growing up, because I wanted to be there for them. I wanted to take care of them. In other words, I knew their childhood would go by fast and I didn't want to miss it.

I can totally relate to this. When I had my first girl I was so happy and giddy. When she got past her first birthday all of a sudden she got taller, she started walking and she was unstoppable with all the little milestones. Now my youngest turned 1 last April and she too is unstoppable. She recently started walking on her own and oh boy is she happy to discover the world outside of my arms. But it is true what they say, you will only have them in your own arms a short while and in a blink of an eye they're all of a sudden not so tiny anymore.

@gimitchelray Soon enough you'll get your fair share of it! It will be fun and at the same time tiring but it would be awesome at the same time to see them walking independently.

Our baby girl is almost there she's just gotta learn balance and she will have the walking thing down. She has taken a couple steps at times but nothing more than that yet. I don't think it will be to much longer though.

Oh, such a blessing for you. Is she already 1 year old? Because my nephew walks when he is 1 year old.

Yes time always goes away very fast. I think only one thing we can do is enjoy and capture every movements in our life so that we can enjoy watching these things after 70 years.
