Actually, as far as the trend in book sales these days, the ebook sales have been losing to physical ones. Ebooks are still better when concerning some topics, but most people like to hold (and smell) a physical book in their hands. I read most stuff online, so I don't have much of a preference. It is easier to read a physical book. Since I write ebooks, I would like to see those do well also. :D

@manikarnika Unfortunately, my pen name must remain a complete secret from everyone. I won't even tell my family members what it is. Plus, they have material that isn't suitable for this site.

I have to say that I prefer to read a real physical book. With Ebooks I just got lost so faster and I dislike it, I don't feel comfortable with it

E-books are much cheaper than physical books. But I'd use both anyway.

@manikarnika That too. We have boxes in our house which are filled with my elementary school textbooks. But I have saved so many research articles and journals in my laptop that if I printed them, then they would have occupied more space than my elementary school textbooks.

Yeah...You're right. Also E-Books save storage space.Because real paper books need some shelf in our study room...

Yes you are absolutely right @manikarnika. In future all studies will be using E-books only.. Most of the people prefer to use physical books, as we all are using physical books from our childhood. I think if new generation starts using E-books from their childhood, then only it will possible in future. In always like to use physical books for current study. E-books can be used as a storage of book that we may need in future. Also E-books do not need place to store books in our home. Do you have any saved E-books for your reference?

I can never read an ebook. I can probably read a few pages, but it's difficult. There is a charm in real books and an ease that can never be matched by an ebook.

Of course reading the normal books is much more comfortable. But the normal books also use more room and they can be expensive to buy them a lot. Therefore today I like to borrow books from the library. It is a good option.

my son reads some e-books in his phone; i prefer the physical books where i can turn the pages, and make a dog ear to mark where i stopped reading.

E-books have got their advantages, of course, but I still prefer physical books. Even so, the combination of both is useful as some interesting or important books exist only as ebooks.

I'm also in favour of physical books that real reading experience is incomparable to e-books.

I read both because I still use the library. If I'm going to buy a book, which I do more than I like to admit, I download it onto my Kindle. It's easier to take when traveling.
