Tomorrow is my first day volunteering at the YMCA. I will be in the nursery on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:30 to 11:30. If this goes well I am thinking about adding another day. I was informed that I would be working with a girl named Cassidy and since I am just a volunteer I can't be left alone with the kids and I understand that fully. I will have to do check in/outs, change diapers, play with the kids, make sure they eat the snack they brought and not another kid's snack, and at the end disinfect/clean the nursery up. I am looking forward to getting more of my hours in and getting to work hands on with kids.

I only wish those kids don't trouble you much as you already know how kids are. Btw I love to spend time and play with children whenever any relatives comes at my home or when I go there.
All the best with your first day volunteering.
Btw is the full form of YMCA? Here in my city, there is also YMCA which is a centenary school and college. Hehe

The first day went well. Not many kids showed up today. The YMCA in the U.S. is a recreational place. It has a gym, pool, locker rooms, indoor gym/basketball court, they also have after school programs and summer programs for kids. They teach them soccer, kickball, t-ball and hold games on the outside track and field.
