I'm not sleepy at night

That is my problem why I have insomnia. When I lie in bed I really don't feel sleepy. I close my eyes yet after hours I'm still awake. What do you think can make me really sleepy so I can sleep instantly?

You should make a count from 1 to 1000 and even then you are unable to sleep try reverse counting, it will help you to sleep.

Do you have insomnia everyday or periodically or for some months only? Do you take meds?

how young/old are you? i think you should not take afternoon naps. i also think you know the precipitating factors why you cannot sleep well at night.

I'm 35. I don't take naps as I cannot sleep even in the day. My sleep comes back to normal

I have insomnia too. I don't drink coffee or coke. I eat banana and drink sterilized milk or ginger/turmeric tea with milk at night. I guess listening to music could help too just don't play rap

Milk or turmeric milk works best..also it's it's best to avoid caffeinated drinks

Try not to do anything stimulating 2 hours before going to bed. So being on My Lot is out Seriously, no TV or excitement. Try reading a book or magazine. When I have this sometimes a glass of warm milk helps me get sleepy again. Do not lie in bed and let your mind wander. Get out of bed try these tips and don't go back until you feel sleepy. Good luck with your insomnia.
