That Darn Olive Pip! Now, Time For Cocktails...

Yes, yesterday I was at the dentist thanks to a hidden olive pip! It broke my tooth in half! So after much injecting and drilling, my tooth is now fixed. Today I woke up with slightly swollen eyes, an after effect of the injections, I think.
And tonight after many months I am going out for cocktails with friends! I will make sure my Mom has all her medicine and my Dad has assured me he can and will take care of my Mom for a few hours.
So now I will take my swollen eyes, make-up the heck out of them and go for those cocktails! Yes, siree no swollen eyes can stop me (even if I look a bit like a raccoon)! Did you ever go out looking less than perfect?
I hope everyone will have a fabulous weekend! And if I don't see you again Today, I will try to catch up tomorrow.

Noone looks perfect so yes i have. Never heard of getting swollen the next day

@Courtlynn , true, no one is perfect. It's weird, I woke up this morning and on especially the side of the injection my eye is slightly swollen, with the other coming a close second

Poor you! You never mentioned to me why you were going to the dentist. Glad your tooth was repaired, but sorry you got so beat up! I had my chipped front tooth repaired last week. Hope you have a drink or two for me tonight and have lots of fun with your friends. You deserve it! I went out with sun poisoning in Florida for a St. Patrick's Day party. You could tell up close that I was badly blistered, but thank goodness for makeup!!! Heal soon.

Glad you ordered the Pina Colada and not a martini. I think it wise to keep a wide berth from Olives. (Personally I hate them) No amount of make up preening or pruning will ever make me perfect looking so no need for me to hide what I don't have in the first place.

@garymarsh6 , a martini is too dangerous. I shall double check olives from now on. I went out with my slightly swollen eyes and had a blast. I think we each have a different perception of perfect, Gary, and it could be said that we are perfect the way we are. :)

i think the swollen eyes was due to the injection of anesthesia in your oral cavity. pressure was put on where the injection was pricked. i don't think you have allergy because if you had, it should not be swollen eyes, but also hives in your skin

Yes, I think so too @ridingbet . It is probably slight bruising. And I don't have other allergy symptoms.

Aw - I'm sorry about your tooth. I'm sure you look great, either way. :-) I know I have gone out downright messy 0 but the guys seem to like me better that way
