Supplement for the Brain

Since Dementia and Alzheimer's runs in my family, I always try to read and look up new information that is available to assist in my prevention of scrambled brains. Not that I wouldn't mind blocking a lot of memories mind you, but still..... You may have seen some of the recent commercials for a supplement called Cognium put out my Natrol that has already gone through nine human clinical studies. The ingredient is a silk protein called hydrolysate (Cera-Q) that increases blood flow and glucose to areas of the brain that provide memory and cognition. Supposedly you can feel results in as little as 4 weeks and the price is pretty reasonable. As always, check with your doctor to see if this product would be helpful.

Wonder if this would be okay for insane brains. I see you can buy it at Walmart online too for $55. And on Amazon for $36 and other prices ...

I wonder what kinds of tests were done to determine the validity of this product. Oh well, if the price is not high, I would give it a try.

From what I've read dementia isn't hereditary....lifestyle is the culprit not DNA. Not saying its not important to learn all you can, but I would not take anything w/o talking to my doctor.

Haven't heard of this supplement before. Any progress in this area would be most helpful. My mother and my paternal aunt both succombed to Alzheimer's. It is one ugly hideous disease.
