Buckling Down on my Dieting
June 10, 2017 11:13am CST
Everything I have been trying has failed. I'm sure it is mostly due to my being weak when my cravings hit though the first time around when I was losing weight having a cheat day helped curve those cravings and I still watched how much I ate. My husband had joined me in dieting and eating better though he wasn't as strict with it as I was and I think I let myself have the same mind set. Well I am changing that now! I am going to the one thing I haven't tried. MEAL PLANNING. I am going to do some research on how to do it and the best ways to go about doing it. I'll be writing down tips and everything and I'll share it with my best friend and my husband so we can do this right together. I am also going to make a grocery list of foods to get to help make this easier and ensure that we get healthier things that will work with our meal planning. Have you tried meal planning? What was hard about it? What was easiest?

I make my lunches for the work week on Sundays. That is easy enough to do. I don't really meal plan but I have a fully stocked fridge and freezer with fresh vegetables, meats, and appropriate starches. There is never an excuse to eat crap, fast food, take out, etc.
Honestly, I have never gone on a diet but it doesn't mean I don't want eat healthier. I don't necessarily need to go on a diet but more of watching what I eat dince i'm still nursing my 2 girls currently. I really really want to plan my meals but it's so hard when one of rhe girls is a picky eater.
