Am I rude?

I asked this because I started ignoring a friend of mine. And this is what happened. She knows I'm working home based, so she asked me to send her links and website for home based companies, and I send her all I know. So I thought she can manage to look for what is the best for her. But I was wrong, she started asking me things which are understandable for her like filling up some applications and all. I thought she's really into this kind of thing. Then I referred her to one of my friends for a 4 hours work, and she missed it because she was outside. I tried to help her at least get a job but looks like she doesn't have the mind to understand it and looks like she's not serious about it, so I started ignoring her messages and make excuses. Am I rude? What should I do then?

No I do not feel you are rude. She made a request to you, you fulfilled it, and she wasted it.

In fact you are not rude. You did what you could but she didn't want to get hold of that opportunity.

@JustBhem it is so annoying. I feel that she doesn't want to make any efforts and she takes you for granted

That what's I'm thinking. Like I already spoon feed that information I know for her and still, she always ask a question.

I agree with OceanTiara @TiarasOceanView...I suggest that you tell her that any good job requires a professional personality and must love to do it with her whole interest otherwise she must not expect a good opportunity

Thanks simply. It is not fair to do that to the friend that helps you either.

Thanks for sharing, yes I agree with you. I've done what I could to make her comfortable in applying for a home-based job. But she took it for granted.

@JustBhem..Is your friend aware that you are going to refer her to a job and that she must be available anytime?

Not at all. If she is not interested, she should not waste your time. She would have attended your friend where you referred her.

@Courtlynn Well, at least she should know how to work for herself. I already gave her everything I know and how to handle interviews and all.

I think you are just impatient and I will be the same. In fact some people just want to make money without efforts. They don't understand that money will not come easy. I will be lazy to explain it because as you said, she could find all the information from the websites. She just doesn't want to spend time to know them.

Exactly, she's impatient and lazy. She wants me to do everything but I already did everything to help her. I am just tired to explaining things to her because she kept asking the same thing.
