Are/Were you closer to your mother or father?

One of my children is closer to her dad and the other is close to me. I was much closer to my mother.

As I never met my biological father, and the man who adopted me after he married my mother was never really a part of my life (they divorced when I was too young to remember), it would be my mother.

I'm not close to my mother, none of my sisters are either, me and her are just polar opposites. I get along much better with my dad though.

I was always much closer to my mom. My dad and I were kind of stand offish to each other. I regret that now that he has passed away.

I was definitely closer to my mother. My dad was not someone you could get very closed to. He was always distant and difficult to get along with.
