My son bought a mechanical keyboard online. He expected the package to arrive yesterday but it was brought to our house last Wednesday and I was the one who received it. My son was so excited. He immediately opened his package, attached to his laptop and started to punch the keys. "Takatakatakatak "! He loves the sound of the keys. I love it too. It sounds like the keys of a typewriter. I believe I read some comments here that say they use mechanical keyboard. What sounds do you like to hear?

Before there was the keyboard I was using the typewriter. It's been in storage for years now since doing any typing job is more convenient with the computer. I'm not aware of this mechanical keyboard but your post makes me curious. Although I'm not sure I want my thoughts to compete with the "Takatakatakatak " sound

my son is a fast typist (in fact he won a contest in his sophomore high school as the fastest in typing in computer keyboard), and he loves hearing the keys.

I have never used a mechanical keyboard. I remember using a typewriter when we were still at school. And yes the sound was pleasing

@ridingbet Not at all, it's not a loud sound, a lot less noisy than an old typewriter.

Speaking of typewriter, I remember my monster typing teacher who slapped my hand many many times for incorrect typing techniques. Lol
