I battle to fall asleep and it takes many hours (and annoying bathroom breaks) before I do. On average I would say I get maybe five hours.... What is the average for everyone?

I can't even calculate my average as my nights are so unpredictable. Do you suffer from some illnesses?

I generally get about 6-7 hours of sleep a night. Sometimes it is a little more, but generally that's what I get.

I usually sleep for 6 hours. Sometimes I will have difficulty in sleeping then my day will become hectic. Try some home remedies...

It depends..there are times when I sleep for 7 hours at a stretch but on an average I sleep for about 6 hours or less.

When I have work, I wake up earlier so I get 4-5 hours of sleep. When it is my day off, I get 7-8 hours of sleep.

During the week I get about 4.5-5 hours sleep per night. I start work early finish late. It seems like all I do at the moment is work, eat, sleep, repeat.

I guess I'm lucky that I have no trouble falling asleep at all. I can sleep pretty much anytime and anywhere. (There's only one time that I remember having trouble sleeping many years ago. I can tell you about that later if you want. ) But to answer your question, nowadays I get anywhere from 4-6 (sometimes a little more if I'm feeling lazy and take too many '5 more minutes' ) hours of sleep.
