Happy To Be Indoor Now

About an hour ago, I went outside to do a little pruning of one of our bushes.
I could feel the heat as I was in a sunny spot. Not used to it anymore after having had such a cold Spring. It is a good thing that it was a bit windy, as it made it easier.
Now I am very contented of being indoor again and just relaxing.
How is your evening going?

We have a sunny warm day today but I'm staying inside in the a/c. I'm caught up in a good book

@marlina - I enjoy spending my evenings at home, too. Right now, my husband and I are watching NCIS, which we recorded on our DVR.

@marlina - It is very hot inland, but only about 80 degrees close to the ocean, where I live. Most of the time, the high temperature for the day ranges from the mid 60s to the high 80s in the area where we live. The ocean keeps the temperatures moderate ... although we occasionally go above or below that range.

@marlina I am reveling in the nice weather without the humidity. It will come and go all summer but it doesn't stay every day like in Florida and it's milder. (Although people here will complain of how awful the humid days are!)

I've been doing my yard work in bits and pieces. There are a lot of black snakes around this year and, to be honest, they freak me out. I'm always on the lookout. Any unknown movement and I quickly retreat to the house, coward that I am.

It is very warm here again today, in the 90s, it will cool off again soon by Wednesday it will be in the mid 70s which is ever so much nicer.
