Dear IT Gurus, Please suggest me whether can start learning JAVA technologies. Will Java technologies be in the market for few years. Currently I working on VB.

delphi ,java ,.net are so popular now. i don't know which one is better. if your vb skill is so high,you could also have a good career

It will - and those with JAVA experience are highly sought at the moment. If IT is your major in college, you automatically take a course in JAVA. If you want to expand from there you should take tests at your local computer-testing center.

both vb and java is there to stay.. but if you have a technology background you can learn any new technology that comes in teh future

As of now Iam working on SAP-ABAP ( 4.6c older verison ) and VB for interfacing, When I enquired for additional skills, my friends suggested me that JAVA will stay in the market for atleast 10 year. Please help me.
