Amazing! Just Amazing!

I mention yesterday about buying this huge watermelon and I popped that sucker open today.
The cashier was not lying, The massive watermelon was the best so far this year. Worth every bit of the $7.00 I paid.
It was sweet and crunchy, Oh and with the big seeds but not many.
I had watermelon for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Well okay I had a turkey sandwich for lunch and fried green tomatoes for dinner but desert was always watermelon.
Me and Tony managed to eat 1/2 today and I chopped the rest and put it in 2 large Tupperware bowls.

We will be cutting ours open tomorrow. Someone brought it with them from Florida. It was from a roadside stand and no clue what the price was but we can already smell the sweetness @andriaperry

Oh yeah! I remember going to Florida and stopping to fill the car with melons on the way back, melons for everyone.

I haven't had any watermelon yet this year but I'm sure my mom will be buying it soon and I will be going over and eating it with her. One of our "bonding" things when I was a little girl was eating our watermelons in the summer. Nobody else in our family liked watermelon so we would eat the whole thing between the two of us.
