Hubby has a release to work, but has not had a driving evaluation since his stroke. Not only that, I would be really uncomfortable for him to go and not go with him. I chauffeured him to work today. He took his conference call and worked his entire shift. Then we ran a couple of errands. He did okay. I did okay. The only problem is that I still have all my home stuff to do as well. Oh, and tonight is women's group at the church. I will do my best to keep up though. Thanks for reading, oh, and for giving me things to read as well.

It gets tough when you have to drive someone around.. I know that from the times we've had to share a car due to something being wrong with one of them or whatever. Glad he's doing better though!

We have done the ride share thing in the past as well. If his job was closer I could just come back home, but that would not really work well.

I will be busy for a little while, but I would rather be busy with hubby than not busy. I am glad he is doing well.

@GardenGerty that's the kind of attitude that appears to help success stories, when success is possible

It irks me how quickly some are sent back to work. Seems they need some time to recover and maybe insurance should provide a driver!

Do not let him drive before he has his driving evaluation. Take care, you have very busy days.

It is the law that he cannot. We will get it soon as they can schedule it.

You sound like me, My sister told me that Uncle was taking his son from out of state fishing, I looked at her and said " Tony can`t go." She laughed and said " you made it sound like he was a little kid." It is funny that when I am taking care of someone sick I will tell them no like they are a child. BUT I know its not safe just weeks after surgery.

It does not help much that it is the state law. We are puzzled by the cause of the stroke.
