I really want to learn how to cook. I do know a few basic ones but I want to learn how to cook other stuff that are easy to make. My sister in law who moved to the States years back did not have any skills to cook but since she has no help there she magically learned how to and is definitely doing a good job. I want to know which recipes do I try to make first? Can anyone give me tips on how to come up with like easy meals that I can start cooking? I really want to learn and would like to surprise my husband one day maybe try cooking something on his birthday.

I don't like cooking, but I enjoy baking although I can only do easy and simple recipes...

Same here, I love baking but with cooking I question my taste buds and all. Wish it was like baking where I relax and enjoy mixing all the ingredients. But whenever i cook something sometimes I get worried that the taste is too salty (I love salty food so I kinda question my taste buds).

Oftentimes I only boil spiral pasta and drain of course (LOL). Sauté tuna chunks or hot & spicy "century tuna" with a bit of salt, ground black pepper and bayleaf. Mixed them and eat except the bayleaf

Well my husband likes all sorts of food but in an odd way. But i want to make him something he won't believe I did. Like some sweet and sour fish fillet or actually I want to make him roast beef but it sounds complicated. I can actually bake but When it comes to cooking I question it so here I am asking what recipes you can share that are easy for a beginner like me.
