I Guess They Do Appreciate Dedication / myLot

Went in to the office to check my mail folder today. Found the usual paper schedules, checkstubs, and miscellaneous announcements. I also found a blue paper bag with my name on it. I gathered the contents of the folder and headed out. My work was done for the day and I had shopping to do before I picked up Little Miss from daycare. Curiosity got the best of me and I opened the bag. I found a $100 Visa gift card inside and a pin. I was truly surprised. Nice to be appreciated.

That's awesome :-) And I don't even know what it's for, but that's always a great thing when anyone or anything ends up making someone feel appreciated, its like it makes the air lighter so tomorrow will be easier so to speak. My husband thinks I'm silly but I always really try and make sure to thank our daughter for things. She's only 2 haha but its never too early to gain self-esteem I tell him

I work as a PCA for our local VNA/Hospice. I have been there for 10 years. Good job with your little one. We have a 2 year old granddaughter and when she does something that is appreciated we always thank her too. They hear way too much the things they shouldn't do. It is best to tell them when they are doing good things.
