Downsizing? I Don't Think So

Okay it would be a very funny thing for me to tell you I'm downsizing right now. I think we're at the limit for that now and any thoughts of downsizing would be hilarious and should make us break out into some rolling laughter. We are at a comfortable limit and have had to downsize to move into this smaller condominium on the busier side of town. It's a little more 'city living' than we were used to and although brand spanking new it's smaller and more compact. I think the area is way more busy than where we were used to but it's more affordable and very modern. But downsizing is no longer a possibility as we are definitely at our limit for that. Looking forward now to getting all our pics up and getting fully organized. :)

It sounds like you have picked quite the spot to live. We're thinking about moving into another place for retirement and with that might come a smaller house. Not sure how we will manage but something will work out.

It's when you have to get rid of stuff that is the big decision but feels good after you've done it!

I try to convince my husband to get rid of plenty of things, just in case we need to downsize. He does not listen.

@MarymargII Our idea is to stay where we are, but you can never know what life will be in the future.

@LadyDuck That's true- it could change but nice if it didn't. :)

It becomes a monumental task if you have lots of things you are holding onto. However, if you stay where you are all will be well!

It would indeed be so difficult to downsize because the place is small than coping up with a big place. At least with a big place and lesser things, we are minimalists so lesser things to clean.

If we get a bigger place and just use these few things- it probably will be just perfect--ha! You're right!

I think we need to throw a lot of things soon. We are going to move out from the family house.

We end up collecting so much and then it's hard to get rid of it!

@MarymargII I agree. It takes time to get rid of them,

@Shavkat And the worst part is how to get rid of it if it is worth something. People don't want to put much money out for things at all.

Once you start it's easy not to add more stuff- only what you need- then it becomes easy!
