The Dreadful FaceBook unfriend...LOL

My son used to say "mom, it's not what you say, but how you say it". Maybe that is what has went on here. I don't know. I just know that through no fault of my own I am getting a shun around here like I did something wrong. It is probably something I said wrong. The landlord is the one said grandsons family needs to move out as they are not on the contract, etc. I do know that things between others here have become stressed, but like I told daughter yesterday, it is not helping to have big yelling matches and fights among all. Just makes things worse when it is family involved and should try and work things out peacefully. Last night she spent time with me in my room laughing about the fact that grandsons gf became so petty as to unfriend her on FB! So I looked and realized so have I been. People are so childish on there. If not for the keeping up with friends and family where sometimes instead of calling they just post on there, I would never even look. Like I told daughter,I spend the majority of my time here on Mylot where people communicate better. so who cares? I could live without FB but I would surely miss mylot. Actually, I am probably the only one going to miss them around here. and have never even asked grandson to friend me again since he made the remark years ago when I lived with them before,"why should I friend you? I live with you"

You're totally right with the fact that facebook it's a silly page, full of silly people. That's why I don't use it as I did. I have so many "friends" on facebook and I just talk with a few, why do you want me on your friends list? Lol

Yes, there are many times if I did not use Facebook as part of my Business venture, I would probably not want to use it either. People can be so sticky there. It really makes no sense what gets into someone, and sometimes due to Politics I know I get unfriended, etc. and I guess people just have no real idea how to go on with life and not allow everything to always want it to be about them.

Sorry things are rather fraught at your place, it sounds as if you will be much better off if they move out.

yes the idea has been going around since last october that some things seem to not be working out. we have all tried they don't stay right for long. so it is time anyway. the landlord just pushed the button we kept trying to avoid

I was unfriended by my sister when her, my brother and I all had a falling out about 6 years ago. It didn't bother me and like you, we laughed about it too. We are still not talking to my sister as what she did and said was really unforgivable.

@bunnybon7 Yes, absolutely! My sister has always been one to stir things up. I think she survives on drama.

That is a cute reason not to friend someone @bunnybon7 We could start to really get in each other's way if we are talking 24/7 online and in person.

honestly? it is surprising what you find out online not said in person at home. in my family they seem to not tell each other things out right. not sure how it got like that.

@bunnybon7 Communicating is different with each generation. Just think what it will be like for your grandbaby. No doubt when they are adults, it will be "I'll have my people call your people" and no direct communication!
